Word of caution -- going to a top accounting school means lots of stress as a college student leading to lots of stress at a Big Four firm leading to lots of stress in your non-existent personal life. Not to dissuade you, but just be prepared. See angryaccountants dot blogspot com
Your Public Accounting Report rankings are incorrect between undergraduate and graduate rankings. You said that both BYU and UT-Austin were #3 in their graduate programs??? What are the correct rankings?
Anonymous - We apologize for any confusion.
BYU scored in 3rd on the Public Accounting Report’s annual survey of undergraduate accounting programs. BYU has finished in the Top 3 in both the undergraduate and graduate rankings on this measure since 1995.
UT Austin had the #1 undergraduate program and #3 graduate program for accounting according to the public accounting report statistics. Previously they had held the #1 spot in both categories since 2000.
Please keep in mind that we ranked our schools on a number of measures and that this report was just one of them.
