There is a chance the passing score could go down, Chris. Although, it will all depend on the AICPA's analysis of the new format, questions, and percentage of people passing.

Anonymous, this would depend on your comfort level with the exam and the material. If you think you could pass it, then yes, taking it now would likely be better. However, they are not making the exam

Ouch. All these changes are scaring me. I have the hours to sit for the exam and be certified now but was planning on earning my Masters in Accounting degree to be more prepared. I have yet to take advanced accounting classes. Should I try to get the exam over with now before taking the advanced class?
